Amanda Rollins, MS, CCC-SLP

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications. In 2005, I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders. I completed my Clinical Fellowship at the University of Texas at Dallas in the Early Services for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders program. It was there where I was given my first opportunity to develop and implement numerous Play, Social and Language Groups for children ages 18 months to 5 years.  I also worked Our Children's House Baylor – Dallas within their feeding program as well as at a private practice where I focused on helping children with a variety of speech and language difficulties from 18 months to adult hood.

My professional emphasis has focused on children with Autism, language delays, language disorders, pragmatic disorders, ADHD, and more from 18 months to adult hood. I have worked closely with families/caregivers, teachers, siblings and other professionals within a variety of settings for the purpose of creating the best language environment for each individual child.

In 2008 Laura and I opened Kidspeak, LLC. Together we have created an environment for all of our children where they can not only learn social communication, language skills, play skills and social skills but continue to grow within each specific area as they age. We continue to develop new family centered programs for all our families based on their individual wants and needs. Laura and I work together as a TEAM with each therapist and family in order to facilitate each child's progress within all environments. As we have grown through the years we have also worked hard on creating a supportive and fun environment for our therapists.

Laura Hagan, MS, CCC-SLP

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2004. While in Austin, I had the pleasure of working with children with autism spectrum disorders and their families within their homes and preschool environments. In 2006, I received my Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman's University. Before starting KidSpeak, I worked with the pediatric population, ages birth to 19 years, within an outpatient clinic setting as well as an Early Childhood Intervention Program in the Dallas area.

I feel that KidSpeak has allowed me to implement one of a kind care that is effective, family-centered and can be easily used across all children’s environments. At KidSpeak I am able to collaborate with all of the people in the child's life like parents, siblings, grandparents, teachers and other therapists, which is so very important for carryover and overall progress. It has been such a pleasure for Amanda and me to watch children grow as they have progressed and as they continue through their journeys. We feel very lucky to be an active part of that each and everyday and to have so much fun with what we do.
