I received my undergraduate degree in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan in 2011.  I then attended Northwestern University in Chicago and received my Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2014.  I lived and worked in Chicago from 2014 to the summer of 2017, gaining experience in a variety of settings including home health, hospitals, private practice, and schools.  These opportunities allowed me to work with a wide variety of age groups and address many different areas of need including dysphagia, literacy, receptive and expressive language, and articulation.  After relocating to Dallas, I took a job working with school-aged children in Lancaster ISD.  I thoroughly enjoy working with children to help improve their social engagement and communication skills.  I look forward to new experiences as a member of the KidSpeak team.  (Michelle joined the KidSpeak, LLC team the Summer of 2018.)
