Preschool Group (ages 3 – 6)                                         Monday and Wednesday 9:00 – 11:30

Our Preschool Group is a classroom-based program focused on building language (expressive and receptive), play, social communication, emotional regulation, and classroom skills through evidence-based practices.  Our therapists use the SCERTS® Model (Prizant et al.), along with elements from More Than Words and It Takes Two to Talk (The Hanen Center®) and Social Thinking® (Michelle Garcia Winner). This group is ideal for children who may be language delayed, language disordered, autistic, or have challenges with social communication and play skills. Children that are a fit for this group may also be a fit for our Tuesday and Thursday group: Kinder Connections. New KidSpeak, LLC clients may have to complete one to four individual sessions before beginning this group. This group has a classroom ratio of 1 adult to 3 kids.  Spaces limited to 4 children.  (16 sessions)
 

Friendship Camp Beginners 1 (ages 5 – 8)                           Monday and Wednesday 9:00 – 11:30

Our Friendship Camp Beginners group blends classroom-based learning with playdate style activities designed for children with high receptive and expressive language skills that are about to enter Kindergarten to 2nd grade.  These children may have difficulty with emotional regulation skills, social communication skills, play and social play, and more.  These children are emerging/at the beginning of their conversation skills.  Our Friendship Camp Beginners 1 group will focus on increasing each child’s expressive communication skills, social communication skills, play and social skills, receptive language skills, emotional regulation skills, classroom skills, friendship skills, Theory of Mind skills (understanding others thoughts/feelings), conversational skills, and much more.  Our therapists use the SCERTS® Model (Prizant et al.), along with elements from More Than Words and It Takes Two to Talk (The Hanen Center®) and Social Thinking® (Michelle Garcia Winner). We accomplish these goals with the use of a fun schedule including: sensory play times, group lesson times, structured play times, unstructured play times, gym time, snack time, and much more.  New KidSpeak, LLC clients may have to complete one to four individual sessions before beginning this group.  Children that are a fit for this group may also be a fit for our Tuesday and Thursday groups including: Kinder Connections and Social Schoolers. Social Schoolers 1 (ages 5 - 8)                                     Monday and Wednesday 9:00 – 11:30

Our Monday and Wednesday Social Schoolers Group is a classroom-based program designed for children with difficulties in their play skills, language skills (receptive and/or expressive skills), sensory/emotional regulation skills, social skills, early academic skills, attention skills, and more.  Our daily schedule for this group may include: gym, circle, play, snack, math, language, writing, music, and more.  This group will place an emphasis on pre-literacy and literacy skills, pre-writing and writing skills, and early math concepts to help prepare them for kindergarten, 1st grade, and second grade.  This group will focus on increasing your child’s language skills (expressive and receptive), play skills, social communication skills, emotional regulation skills, classroom skills, academic skills, and more with both peers and adults through the use of a variety of evidence-based practices.  The difference between this Social Schoolers Group and the Tuesday and Thursday Group is that these children need more sensory and emotional regulation input as well as more 1:1 direct teaching for academic skills. Children that are a fit for this group may also be a fit for a variety of other groups including: Friendship Camp Beginners 2.  New KidSpeak, LLC clients may have to complete one to four individual sessions before beginning this group.  This group has a classroom ratio of 1 adult to 3 kids.  We typically have 2 different groups. Spaces limited to 3 children per group.  (16 sessions)

 

Friendship Camp 3 (ages 7-10)                                      Monday and Wednesday 9:00 – 11:30

Our Friendship Camp 3 group blends classroom-based learning with playdate style activities designed for children with high receptive and expressive language skills that are about to enter 1st grade through 4th Grade.  These children use and understand a higher level of language and are conversational; however, may have difficulty with emotional regulation, executive functioning, social/pragmatic skills, conversations that focus on others, making friends, and more.  This group will focus on increasing each child’s communication, play, receptive language, emotional regulation, executive functioning, self-awareness, social/pragmatic, Theory of Mind (understanding others thoughts/feelings), conversational skills, and much more through the use of the SCERTS® Model (by Prizant, Wetherby, Rubin, and Laurent) and elements of Social Thinking® (by Michelle Garcia Winner).  We accomplish these goals with the use of a fun schedule including: sensory play, group lesson, structured play, unstructured play, and much more. Children that are a fit for this group may also be a fit for our Tuesday and Thursday Social Schoolers Group.  New KidSpeak, LLC clients may have to complete one to four individual sessions before beginning this group.  This group has a ratio of 1 adult to 6 kids. Friendship Camp 5 (ages 15 - 18)                                   Monday and Wednesday 9:00 – 11:30

Our Friendship Camp 5 group blends classroom-based learning with playdate style activities designed for children entering middle and high school. These children use and understand high level of language and are very conversational. This group will focus on increasing each child’s conversation skills, emotional regulation skills, executive functioning skills, self-awareness skills, social/pragmatic skills, Theory of Mind skills (understanding others thoughts/feelings), and much more through the use of the SCERTS® Model (by Prizant, Wetherby, Rubin, and Laurent) and elements of Social Thinking® (by Michelle Garcia Winner).  We accomplish these goals with the use of a fun schedule including: group lesson times, structured and unstructured play times (i.e., games, gym, etc.), and more.  Children that are a fit for this group may also be a fit for our Tuesday and Thursday Social Schoolers Group.  New KidSpeak, LLC clients may have to complete one to four individual sessions before beginning this group.  This group will have a ratio of 1 adult to 6 kids.  Spaces limited to 6 children.  (16 sessions)

 

Friendship Camp 6 (ages 16 - 21)                                   Monday and Wednesday 10:00 – 12:30

Our Friendship Camp 6 group is a mixture of a classroom-based and a playdate/hangout-based program for teens who require more support for their emotional regulation, social communication, and conversational skills.  The purpose of this program is to provide support for each child while increasing their language (expressive and receptive), Theory of Mind, social communication, conversational and social pragmatic skills.  We accomplish these goals through a fun schedule including; sensory activities, conversation, group lessons, snack, gym, art, games and more through the use of the SCERTS® Model (by Prizant, Wetherby, Rubin, and Laurent) and elements of Social Thinking® (by Michelle Garcia Winner).  People that are a fit for this group may also be a fit for our Social Schoolers Group.  New KidSpeak, LLC clients may have to complete one to four individual sessions before beginning this group.  This group has a classroom ratio of 1 adult to 3 kids.  Spaces limited to 3 children. (16 sessions)

 

Individual Services                                                    Monday and Wednesday 11:30 -6:30

  • Individual Therapy at the KidSpeak, LLC office - We will have individual therapy from 11:30 – 12:30 for kids in our morning groups (limited spaces).  We will then have individual therapy from 12:30 – 6:30.  Spaces are limited. 

  • Individual Therapy Offsite (at schools, preschools, daycares) – We will have limited ability to go offsite for sessions. 

  • Home School Helpers and Speech and Language Tutoring – We will have limited openings for offsite Home School Helpers and Speech and Language Tutoring

Kinder Connections (ages 4 – 7)                                      Tuesday and Thursday 9:00– 11:30

Social Schoolers 2 (ages 7 – 21)                                            Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 – 12:00

Our Social Schoolers Tuesday and Thursday groups will be broken up into 3- 4 different Social Schoolers Groups based on their ages and skill levels (i.e., 2nd graders will not be grouped with 8th graders all day).  Each group is a classroom-based program designed for children who have challenges with executive functioning skills, classroom skills, study skills, academic skills (math, reading, writing, etc.), social-emotional skills, and more.  This group is for children who will be attending 2nd grade all the way through 18+ programs in the fall of 2026.  This group will have three main focuses of this group: 1) To maintain your child’s overall classroom skills; 2) To maintain their overall academic skills; and 3) To work on their overall social skills with their peers (if applicable).  Their academic activities are completed in large groups, small groups and 1:1 and are 100% tailored to the needs of your child.  This group will eat lunch.  Children that are a fit for this group may also be a fit for a variety of our Friendship Camp groups.  The classroom ratio for this group is of 1 adult to 4 kids.  Spaces limited to 4 - 8 children per group.  (16 sessions)

 Friendship Camp Beginners 2 (ages 6-8)                                   Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 – 3:30

Friendship Camp 2 (ages 7 – 10)                                            Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 – 3:30

Our Friendship Camp 2 group is a mixture of a classroom-based and a playdate/hangout-based program designed for children with high receptive and expressive language skills that are about to enter 1st grade to 3rd grade.  These children use and understand a higher level of language and are very conversational; however, they may have difficulty with emotional regulation skills, executive functioning skills, social/pragmatic skills, conversations that focus on others, and more.  Our Friendship Camp 2 group will focus on increasing each child’s communication skills, play skills, receptive language skills, emotional regulation skills, executive functioning skills, self-awareness skills, social/pragmatic skills, Theory of Mind skills (understanding others thoughts/feelings), conversational skills, and much more through the use of the SCERTS® Model (by Prizant, Wetherby, Rubin, and Laurent) and elements of Social Thinking® (by Michelle Garcia Winner).  We accomplish these goals with the use of a fun schedule including: sensory play times, group lesson times, structured play times, unstructured play times, and much more.  This group will have times where the “large group” is all together and times when we are in “small groups.”  New KidSpeak, LLC clients may have to complete one to four individual sessions before beginning this group.  Children that are a fit for this group may also be a fit our Tuesday and Thursday Morning Social Schoolers Group (if they participate in both groups then we provided free babysitting between 12:00 – 1:00).   This group has a classroom ratio of 1 adult to 6 kids.  Spaces limited to 10 kids. **This group will either have 1) one boy group and one girl group OR 2) combine a equal number of boys/girls so that they can do things together as a big group and separate into smaller “boy” and “girl” groups.  (16 sessions)

 

Friendship Camp 4 (ages 9 - 14)                                    Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 – 3:30

Our Friendship Camp 4 group is a mixture of a classroom-based and a playdate/hangout-based program designed for children with high receptive and expressive language skills that are about to enter higher elementary and middle school.  These children use and understand a higher level of language and are very conversational; however, they may have difficulty with emotional regulation skills, executive functioning skills, social/pragmatic skills, conversations that focus on others, and more.  Our Friendship Camp 4 group will focus on increasing each child’s communication skills, play skills, receptive language skills, emotional regulation skills, executive functioning skills, self-awareness skills, social/pragmatic skills, Theory of Mind skills (understanding others thoughts/feelings), conversational skills, and much more through the use of the SCERTS® Model (by Prizant, Wetherby, Rubin, & Laurent) and elements of Social Thinking® (by Michelle Garcia Winner).  We accomplish these goals with the use of a fun schedule including: sensory play times, group lesson times, structured play times, unstructured play times, and much more.  This group will have times where the “large group” is all together and times when we are in “small groups.”  New KidSpeak, LLC clients may have to complete one to four individual sessions before beginning this group.  Children that are a fit for this group may also be a fit our Tuesday and Thursday Morning Social Schoolers Group (if they participate in both groups then we provided free babysitting between 12:00 – 1:00).   This group has a classroom ratio of 1 adult to 6 kids.  Spaces limited to 10 kids. **This group will either have 1) one boy group and one girl group OR 2) combine a equal number of boys/girls so that they can do things together as a big group and separate into smaller “boy” and “girl” groups.  (16 sessions)

 

Individual Services                                                    Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 – 6:30

  • Individual Therapy at the KidSpeak, LLC office - We will have individual therapy at the office available after groups from 3:30 – 6:30.  Spaces are limited. 

  • Individual Therapy Offsite (at schools, preschools, daycares) – We will not be able to go offsite during the summer months.

  • Home School Helpers and Speech and Language Tutoring – We will have limited openings for offsite Home School Helpers and Speech and Language Tutoring

All KidSpeak groups are fully individualized and designed to meet the unique needs of each child as well as the group as a whole. Groups target a wide range of skills, including expressive and receptive language, social communication, emotional regulation, sensory regulation, play and social play, executive functioning, and more. Each group is led by speech-language pathologists, speech-language pathology assistants, and/or graduate clinicians under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Final plans for each group are determined once registration is complete, as all programming is fully tailored to the specific children enrolled.

 

There is a $125 registration fee per group, with a $50 discount applied to the registration fee for each additional group a child enrolls in. Tuition is billed separately. All group families receive 3 counseling emails throughout the session, which describe weekly activities, goals, and each child’s performance. Families will also receive 1-3 home programming packets and have the option of scheduling one free 30-minute phone call with Amanda Rollins, MS, CCC-SLP, in July on Friday, July 17. Optional add-on services include weekly daily notes for $250, emailed in August; and an end-of semester summary for $250, emailed in August.

 

Children who are not current KidSpeak clients must complete either a speech and language evaluation (two hours – $500) or an intake interview (45 minutes – $175) before participating. Children who complete an intake interview and participate within summer group/individual therapy; and plan to continue with fall 2026 group or individual therapy services will be required to complete a full evaluation in August 2026, at which time a $100 discount will be applied. Some children may have to participate within mandatory individual therapy in spring 2026 to prepare for summer group participation; if recommended during the intake interview or evaluation, these sessions are billed at $155 per session.

 

Early Registration for current KidSpeak families ends Friday, February 13, 2026, and general registration is due by Friday, May 1, 2026. Prior to the start of group, all families will receive a mandatory parent orientation via voice memo and email, and materials must be reviewed before the first session.
