Caroline Wieck, MS, CCC-SLP

Hi! My name is Caroline Wieck. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019. I then attended the University of Texas at Dallas, where I earned my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Before joining KidSpeak Dallas, I worked in the public-school setting, providing services both in person and through teletherapy. I have had the opportunity to work with preschool through middle school-aged students with a wide range of strengths and needs.

I absolutely love being part of the KidSpeak team, especially because of the strong collaboration among therapists. Working alongside such a supportive and knowledgeable team allows me to continuously learn, grow, and provide the best care for my clients. I love incorporating the SCERTS Model and executive functioning supports into my sessions to help build meaningful, functional communication and regulation skills.

I am passionate about creating therapy activities that are both purposeful and engaging, so my clients are learning important skills while also having fun. Building strong, trusting relationships with both my clients and their families is incredibly important to me, and I feel so grateful to be a part of each child’s journey.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and Goldendoodle, Annie. I love reading, attending hot yoga classes, spending time with friends, and watching college football!

Ms. Caroline is a 2025 DFW Child Mom Approved Therapist!

Laramie Martin, MS, CCC-SLP

Hi! I’m an SLP at KidSpeak, and I hold a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Emerson College. I began my journey in the field as an SLPA in 2018 and have continued to grow in my clinical experience ever since. I joined KidSpeak in Spring 2023 as a graduate student, continued as an SLP-Assistant, and then completed my Clinical Fellowship. I received my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) in December 2025!

I truly love being part of the KidSpeak community and feel so grateful to work with such incredible children and families every day.

I am passionate about supporting children across a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. I have specialized experience working with children who have Autism, are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, and Deaf-Blind Multiple Disabilities (DBMD). I use total communication approaches that incorporate spoken language, sign language, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I am also well-versed in the SCERTS model, executive functioning supports, and creating fun, functional therapy activities that build skills for communication, play, and everyday life. Additionally, I have experience supporting children with complex medical needs and have special interests in feeding therapy, traumatic brain injuries, and genetic syndromes. I strongly believe in a collaborative, strengths-based approach that empowers families and helps each child reach their fullest potential.

My background includes working with both children and adults with disabilities through a variety of meaningful experiences, including my time at Camp Summit, coaching Special Olympics athletes in swimming, tennis, and bowling, my clinical work, and my personal connection through my brother, who has Autism.

Outside of KidSpeak, I enjoy baking (and sharing treats with the clinic!), paddle boarding, painting, reading, traveling, going to hockey games, and spending time outdoors. I also love spending time with my cat, Chewie, as well as with friends and family, whether that’s at a fun themed brunch or a cozy movie marathon!

(Laramie joined the KidSpeak, LLC in the Spring of 2023 as an SLPA and then in the Fall of 2024 she transitioned into an SLP Clinical Fellow and then transitioned in the Spring of 2026 into a CCC-SLP)

Jessica Cobbs, BS, SLPA

Hi! I’m Jessica, an SLPA at KidSpeak! I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, along with a minor in Psychology, and I’ve been part of the KidSpeak team since 2023.

Before fully stepping into the field of speech pathology, I worked as a Therapy Aide and Medical Scribe. Those experiences gave me a deeper understanding of how important communication, connection, and trust are in clinical care, and they ultimately helped guide me toward this career path.

I started at KidSpeak as a volunteer and quickly fell in love with the heart of this practice and the meaningful connections built through therapy. From there, I transitioned into an office assistant role, where I worked closely with Ms. Amanda and gained insight into both the clinical and behind-the-scenes aspects of the clinic. In Summer 2024, I officially stepped into my role as an SLPA, and I’ve been continuing to learn and grow every day since.

One of my favorite parts of this role is working directly with children—especially younger clients—and supporting their communication development in ways that feel natural, fun, and engaging. I’ve always had a love for caring for little ones, and being able to combine that with therapy is incredibly meaningful to me. You’ll often see me using play-based activities, everyday routines, and music to keep kids engaged while supporting their language and social development. I also really enjoy helping kids learn ways to regulate their bodies and emotions, whether that’s through movement, music, or simple strategies we can use throughout the session. I love modeling language during real-life moments, building connection through play, and helping kids find their voice in ways that feel authentic to them.

I’ve also had the opportunity to support children in school settings, which has helped me better understand how to carry skills across environments and meet each child where they are. These experiences have strengthened my flexibility, creativity, and confidence as a therapist, and continue to remind me why I chose this field.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy crocheting, listening to music, and spending time with my dog, Bailey. Music and dance are a big part of who I am, and I love bringing that same fun, energetic, and creative spirit into my sessions whenever I can!

Katherine Soulé, MS, CCC-SLP

Hi! My name is Katherine Soulé. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with my Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in psychology. I went on to get my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tulsa. After graduating I relocated to the DFW area and have been here for 3 years.

I have been working as a school-based SLP since graduation. I currently work with elementary age students in Lewisville ISD. I love getting to work with my students on a variety of targets including speech sound disorders, language development, AAC usage, fluency, literacy skills, emotional regulation, play skills, and more! One of my favorite parts of working as a school-based SLP is collaborating with teachers, parents, and other service providers to best support my students. I am excited to bring that same passion for collaboration into my therapy at KidSpeak! I love play-based therapy and believe in affirming all forms of communication. I feel so lucky to get to work with such amazing kids and families every day. I am always inspired and motivated by the hard work and progress my students show throughout the school year. I joined KidSpeak last summer and have loved getting to work with our summer groups and individual clients throughout the year.

Outside of the SLP world, I love to travel, read, needlepoint, and be outside with friends and family. I love sports including college and pro football and pro baseball. As a born and raised Oklahoman, I have loved getting to explore new things in the DFW area.

Cristen “Cris” Brophy, MS, CCC-SLP

I am very happy to be a therapist at KidSpeak.  I love working with our therapy friends and families.  I graduated with a masters degree in Communication Disorders from UT Dallas. I also attended UTD for undergrad, earning a bachelors in biology.  I currently work with students in Virginia via tele-therapy.  It's been a pleasure to learn about the east coast from here in Texas!  I previously worked in schools in Arlington ISD for 8 years. I have worked with students in elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as with young adults. I love helping young people build their communication abilities and confidence.  I particularly enjoy therapy and research related to receptive and expressive language, literacy, social-pragmatics, stuttering, and executive function.  I love my "r" kids as well!

I am grateful to be a part of a field where I have the opportunity to share in the rewards of helping children and adults make gains in their abilities to relate to others and express themselves.   Working with the collaboration of other speech pathologists makes the work even more meaningful.  It's been wonderful to learn from the team here at KidSpeak!

In my personal time, I enjoy being around my family and friends and going to our favorite restaurants.  I love listening to podcasts, exercise, and playing the piano.
